Born and raised in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Dr. Hudak graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa before obtaining his M.D. degree from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine in Iowa City, Iowa. He completed Urology residency training at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium followed by a fellowship in Urologic Trauma, Reconstruction, and Prosthetics at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He subsequently returned to San Antonio, where he completed a 15 year active duty military career, ultimately achieving the ranks of Lieutenant Colonel, Associate Professor of Surgery at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences F. Edward Herbert School of Medicine, and Adjoint Associate Professor of Urology at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center San Antonio. Dr. Hudak is currently an Associate Professor of Urology at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. His clinical ongoing research, and clinical practice are focused on urologic trauma, prosthetics, and reconstructive genitourinary surgery.
